Upcoming Hours Change at Urgent Care Locations

To better serve our community, on Oct. 1 we will shift the hours of operation at two of our urgent care locations. This change aligns with the patient patterns observed in each area.

The hours of operation as of Oct. 1 will be:

• Children’s Mercy Blue Valley
  • Noon – 10 p.m.
• Children’s Mercy East
  • 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.
• Children’s Mercy Northland (maintain existing hours)
  • 11 a.m. – 9 p.m.

At all locations patients can walk in for care daily or schedule their visit online with Save My Spot – childrensmercy.org/sameday.

“Our goal is to continue to increase access to care for our community,” said Allison Gardner, DNP, RN, NE-BC, CPN, Vice President, Clinical Practice Group Operations and Ambulatory ACNO. “The shift in hours is just one of the steps being made this year to optimize our urgent care services.”

Other projects that are part of the urgent care optimization working include:

• Redesign of clinical workflow.
• Increasing nurse-only services.
• Re-launching urgent care telehealth services.
